Certificate III in Blinds, Awnings, Security Screens and Grilles

MSF30913 Certificate III in Blinds Awnings Security Screens and Grilles will be available in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales starting February 2018.

A two-year course begins in February 2018, funded by the New South Wales, Victorian and Queensland Governments specifically designed to give the blind industry trade-recognised qualifications for eligible learners.  (Other States and Territories are in negotiation.)

  • Your trainee will be required to do approximately 4 hours self-paced study a week in conjunction with onsite visits from a trainer/assessor as well as workplace based supervised training.
  • This is a great opportunity for getting new people into the industry and creating a strong pathway for learning and growth for a career within the Australian Blind Industry.
  • It is also a great opportunity for our industry to be recognised with trade qualifications.  It will give those with trade qualifications more credibility within the building industry and with the end consumer.
  • This course will be rolling enrolment, so if your team is not ready in February 2018, let us know.  We can still organise the training as most of it is self-paced.
